10 Best Home Building Companies in Fullerton, CA
Fullerton is a city that takes its neighborhoods seriously. From the historic charm near Downtown Fullerton to the tree-lined streets around Hillcrest Park, people here invest in their homes because those homes are part of something bigger.
The right builder finishes on time, handles the permits, keeps you in the loop, and delivers a home your whole family will actually enjoy living in. The wrong one leaves you chasing phone calls and staring at half-finished walls.
We put together this comparison to help Fullerton homeowners make a confident, informed decision about which home-building company best fits their project.
1. Cornejos Builders
We’re Cornejos Builders, and we’ve been building custom homes across Southern California for families who want the process done right the first time. We’re local, understand the landscape here, and when you call us, you’re talking to people who actually show up.
Here’s what makes us different:
- Everything under one roof. We handle planning, permitting, design, and construction start to finish. No coordinating between five different vendors.
- Your project manager is on-site every day. Owner Alex Cornejos also visits the site frequently. You're never in the dark about what's happening.
- We start fast. Once we've done our on-site visit and agreed on the proposal, work typically begins within 3 to 10 days.
- Honest pricing. A new custom home starts around $175,000 and can go up to $450,000 depending on scope. We won't throw out a ballpark number just to get you on the phone. After the site visit, you'll get a final number, no surprises.
- We stand behind our work. Materials come with manufacturer warranties ranging from 2 to over 50 years. Our workmanship itself is backed by a 1-year warranty covering everything we install.
What we care about most, honestly, is that you love the result. It’s built into how we operate: we don’t consider a project finished until you do.
We build in Fullerton, Downey, Long Beach, Montebello, Newport Beach, and across Southern California.

If You're Going to Build, Build It With Someone You Can Trust
Comparing contractors is smart, and we’d always tell a homeowner to do their homework before signing anything.
When you get to the end of that research, you want someone who handles everything, starts quickly, gives you a real price upfront, and stays on-site until the job is done right.
Your home is where your family grows up, where the holidays happen, where life gets lived. That deserves a builder who treats it the same way.
We’re not the biggest name in Southern California, but our clients would tell you we work like we are.
Give us a call at (562) 319-3178 or reach out through our contact page, and let’s talk about what you want to build.
